This magnificent performance DVD was recorded live at The Church Street Station in Orlando (1984). Alan, Wayne, Merrill, and Jay Osmond decided to change their musical direction and sound when they started singing country music just two years before this recording. Their transition from pop to country music proved to be very successful. Billboard Magazine honored them with the 1982 Breakthrough Award and also acknowledged them as the "New Singles Group of the Year". The Country Music Association recognized them with a nomination for "Best New Group of the Year" as well. This DVD is a fine example of their extraordinary ability.

I'm certainly hoping this comment gets seen by at least ONE of the OSMONDs (ideally the brothers, Marie or anyone.. really, anyone who can pass a message on to the wonderful stars)...before they touch down to the Sunny Shores of Singapore this coming weekend for the One Night only performance at our Indoor Stadium on Tuesday night.
7 of us hardcore fans of the Osmonds (with one of them, Irene, taking leave from work and flying back from Hong Kong just for this)
All of us knew the Osmonds as if they were personal friends, each one of them, and grew up with the Donny and Marie Show, and the Osmonds Cartoon (with Jimmy rather "irritatingly" cute!)are so happy and thankful that the Osmonds and their music have been a large part of our lives... 4 of us will be celebrating our June Birthdays (turning 43) with this Concert of a Lifetime ... and introspectively, the Osmonds have been for us, an intergral part of our lifetime!
