"I didn't want anybody to get hurt, you know if it didn't work out. And gosh, it just worked out," Osmond said on "Good Morning America." She said even her kids didn't know.

Major news outlets carried details that she remarried her first husband, former BYU basketball standout Stephen Craig, in a private ceremony in the Las Vegas Temple. The news reported that she wore the same wedding dress that she wore on her first wedding.

Marie Osmond got married Wednesday to someone she's known a long time: She remarried first husband Stephen Craig, whom she divorced in 1985 after three years of marriage.

Osmond, 51, and Craig, 54 were married in a private ceremony at the Las Vegas Mormon temple, with a reception following at their nearby home.

"I am so happy and look forward to sharing my life with Stephen, who is an amazing man as well as a great father to my children," Osmond told People magazine.

The pending remarriage had been rumored for months, an Access Hollywood source said, with People noting that the choice of wedding date has significance for the bride: It's the birthday of both Marie's late mom, Olive, and her late son, Michael.

Osmond reportedly wore the same wedding dress Wednesday that she donned the first time around with Craig, who was a basketball player at Brigham Young University.

"This was a last-minute thing," he tells ET. "Not very many people knew about it. Marie told me so I had to keep it very quiet. She wanted it simple and that's what it was."

Donny tells ET that besides it being Marie's wedding day, it's also the birthday of his and Marie's mother and her late son Michael. He goes on to say that he's thrilled that Steve is officially part of the family again.

"I was hoping Steve would be my brother-in-law again," he says. "Steve has always been a very special part of Marie's heart. It was a perfect Cinderella story with a fairy tale ending. They were sealed together again, forever."

"Donnie and Marie -- Christmas in Detroit", the holiday show they originated in New York last year, is just one of several shows set for the Fox in the months ahead. The duo, which has been in the business for almost five decades, spoke with FOX 2's Lee Thomas and said fans love their Christmas production.

(Donny likes it that way.) Being a teen idol kinda sucks.

So reports Jay Osmond, who insists that he was not at all envious when his brother Donny became the Osmonds’ de facto epicenter of female fan fervor in the early 1970s.

“I remember so much of the pressure that was put on Donny,” he said in a phone interview. “I never went through a thing where I thought, ‘I envy your situation.’ Because it was not really an enviable position.

“That up-and-coming star Justin Bieber reminds me so much of Donny,” Osmond said. “Donny went through so much of that. I hope that young guy can hold it together.”

It’s been 53 years since four adolescent Osmond brothers began singing barbershop music in and around their hometown of Ogden, Utah.

Several hundred occupational course corrections later, the Osmonds are still touring.

Three of the brothers – Wayne, Merrill and Jay – will appear Saturday at the Honeywell Center.

There’s a new kid in town, and just knowing his last name is Osmond is enough to raise excitement. Donny and Marie’s nephew, Nathan Osmond, is a multi-talented young man now performing in Pacific Swing Hawaii a live 1940s era big band spectacular at the Waikiki Beach Marriott. Nathan has Marie’s good taste in country music and Donny’s charisma and charm. The new energetic show features big band music, award-winning dancers and singers, and of course, Osmond stardust.

Today, Nathan released a video from Waikiki announcing the success of his newest release, “Sweet” from his “Feels Like Heaven” CD. Osmond has a rich tone that works well with many types of music. I’m hoping he’ll consider heading out to Oahu’s Halona Beach Cove and record a cover of Michael Peterson’s “From Here to Eternity.” Osmond said in a past interview that Hawaii was the first place he told his wife to be “I love you.”

The young BYU quarterback has invested a lot of TV time watching Donny and Marie Osmond compete on "Dancing with the Stars" in recent years. Donny heard about that and decided to attend BYU football practice and thank Heaps in person.

The former teen idol spent a little time with Heaps before practice on Tuesday and watched some of the drills before leaving for a flight to Las Vegas, where he'll resume performing with his sister Marie at the Flamingo Hotel.

Tossing the ball back and forth, Osmond teased Heaps, "Come on, let's see what you've got. Quit throwing it like Betty White."

David Osmond pauses for SCERA concert

OREM — David Osmond is a busy guy these days.

He's performing all over the country, speaking at college functions and church firesides. He's recording new songs and serving as the ambassador for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

So why is he more than fine with taking a weekend to do not one, but two shows in Orem at the 450-seat SCERA Center for the Arts?

"My wife is seven months pregnant and I promised her I'd stay close around. I've been traveling a ton," Osmond said. "And the SCERA keeps asking. They ask me a lot."

He feels a pull to perform where his father and The Osmond Brothers started out and he really likes putting on shows for the hometown crowd. So he said "yes" to a concert.

The word spread and the concert sold out so quickly that the SCERA management asked him if he'd do a second concert the same night.

"It'll be fun. It's what I love to do," Osmond said. "I hope that my voice holds out."

He's only joking, of course.

SALT LAKE CITY -- Thousands of people graduated from Western Governors University Saturday. Among them -- an impressive man who's overcome big odds and is now spreading hope around the world.

Walking to the sound of the graduation march, 255 students filed into Abravanel Hall to receive their diplomas. Osmond family member Justin Osmond was with them.
Justin has lost 90-percent of his hearing, but he didn't let that hold him back from earning his master's degree.
"It's been a great journey for me and I'm a better person because of it," he said. "I hope I can take what I've learned, go out in the world and make a difference."
Justin is already making a difference with a foundation that helps children around the world who have lost their hearing.

Yesterday afternoon we drove down to Steve's house for the weekend. Anneli met a couple of her friends from Richmond in Arizona for a short vacation. The grandchildren had a new toy - a Wii Fit and we had so much fun doing the "Just Dance Kids" while Steve finished working for the day. What great exercise and fun we had together for hours. We even talked grandpa into taking a turn.

How are your fitness goals coming? I walked a lot on the cruise and will spend the next couple of days having fun with "Just Dance Kids." It's a great way to get some aerobic exercise. Has anyone bought "Dance Party" or an adult version that they have loved - to help me decide whether to buy this one or an adult version? The kids version was hard enough for me. Ha!

'Jonah and the Great Fish' translates better to film

OREM, Utah — Not so engaging as a stage musical, "Jonah and the Great Fish" works much better as a film adaptation.

Originally performed on stage at the SCERA Center for the Arts, the film version of "Jonah," starring David Osmond as the main character, was screened recently at the LDS Film Festival.

Justin Osmond beats the odds to speak at grad ceremony

Justin Osmond, the son of Merrill Osmond, was born with 90-percent hearing loss in both of his ears.

However, by practicing for hours a day, Justin learned to speak and even play several instruments, including the violin, piano, viola and drums.

He continues to give back to others who are hearing-impaired with the Olive Osmond Perpetual Hearing Fund, which he founded in honor of his grandmother.

To continue his non-profit work, Justin decided to go back to school for his MBA at Western Governors University, headquartered here in Salt Lake City.
On Feb. 12 Justin will graduate and has been selected as one of the student speakers at WGU’s winter commencement ceremony. For someone who struggled to speak, Justin is now making a graduation speech in front of thousands of people.

Disney, the empire that Walt Disney built back in the early 1940′s-50′s has really hit its stride lately. WEith the success of their Disney cable channels and hit shows to boot (That’s So Raven, Hannah Montana, The Wizards of Waverly Place, The Jonas Brothers) they’ve been knocking them out of the park for the past ten years or more now. but what’s really surprising is the success of their radio stations Disney radio and recording artists to boot. With Hannah Montana, The Jonas Brothers, and Zack Ephron just to name a few Disney is raking in millions of dollars annually throug their record sales. A lot of the credit goes to their formula in packaging good clean family entertainment while keeping up with the current trends in fashion and music. They’ve done very well at it for a while now but I can’t help drawing comparisons to an older act that Disney helped to laung onto the world-stage a while ago; and they were the Osmonds.

Donny Osmond must have an internal source of energy that most humans do not possess. He and his sister Marie visited 'Good Morning America' (Weekdays, 7AM on ABC) today to promote 'Donny and Marie: A Broadway Christmas,' and Donny's effusive, seemingly boundless spirit could not be contained.

Corny one-liners flowed freely. "We give them soup to nuts," he said of the Christmas show's content. "She's soup and I'm nuts! I got a million one-liners today, baby!"

"He doesn't take anything, either," offered Marie. Danny noted that he doesn't even drink caffeine, before shouting and pumping his fists with exuberance. Host Robin Roberts then showed a photo of Justin Bieber side-by-side with a shot of Donny in his teen idol prime, at which point Osmond jokingly accused Bieber of stealing his hair style.

Still pumped up at the end of the segment, Donny couldn't simply drop a coat in the bin for a charity coat drive, he tossed it in from three-point range. If you want to see the Broadway show, you might want to do so soon, before Mr. Osmond explodes.

The singing siblings, who are veterans of talk TV as well as "Dancing with the Stars," will join a list of big-name acts who have performed in Prior Lake on Dec. 31. Among those who previously rang in the New Year at Mystic are Carrie Underwood, Whoopi Goldberg and Don Rickles.

Donny and Marie, who are under contract to perform at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas through October 2012, will perform two shows in Prior Lake on Dec. 31, one at 7 and another at 10:30 p.m.

The question seemed to come out of nowhere last Sunday, when a young woman asked about my current betrothal.

"Of course I am. Why do you ask?" came my response with conviction.

"It's just that I've not seen Jessi in the ward since her last visit in July."

Hmm … interesting logic. I probed for supporting evidence on her claim.

David Osmond travels Road Less Traveled

David Osmond has been singing almost from the time he could talk, but his life journey has not always been easy. "Everyone thinks that because your last name is Osmond, the doors to a music career are already opened. Sometimes that's the very reason the doors are closed," Osmond says.

But making a name for himself as a solo act is not the only struggle David Osmond has experienced. "When I was eighteen, I had the opportunity to play the role of Joseph as an understudy for my uncle Donny. It was great, and my career was leading me places I really wanted to go," Osmond says. "Then it all came crashing to a sudden halt when I found myself in a wheelchair, unable to even move my toes."

At first doctors weren't sure what had brought on the problem and its varying symptoms--difficulty seeing, breathing, and hardly being able to move--but soon they had an idea. Lesions on his brain indicated David was showing signs of Multiple Sclerosis. "Of all things, the doctors theory was that a mosquito bite carrying the West Nile Virus was what 'triggered' the auto-immune reaction, causing the MS which I still have today."
"MS was something I had seen my father, Alan Osmond, live with for years," David says. "But mine struck hard and soon I was in a wheelchair, thinking I might never walk--or sing--again." The effects of the disease made it nearly impossible for Osmond to have the breath control needed to sing even a single song, let alone do an entire concert. Natural therapies, a good wife, and lots of prayers have brought David back onto the stage and given him a second chance. "I have been so richly blessed," Osmond says. "I truly believe in miracles, because I am living one."

Although he still lives with pain every moment of the day, David knows that performing is what he was meant to do in life. "If my music brings joy to another, then I have truly fulfilled my calling," he says.
Osmond found himself back in the spotlight when he was featured as a contestant on American Idol. Although he didn't make the Top 12--"Laryngitis!" he says, laughing at the memory--it did show the world that he definitely has a voice and looked to be back in top form. "A.I. opened a few more doors for me, and I knew I had to follow my dream of once again being a recording artist." (Osmond and his brothers had several hit singles in Europe and the U.S. in the 1990s.)

Last year David released a solo album, "Reflected," that he says gave him a chance to showcase his writing as well as his singing ability. "It proved that I was ready to take a giant leap of faith to forward my career, and it gave me a venue to prove I had broader range than just being a lead singer in a boy band."

That leap of faith is what brought him to the attention of Shadow Mountain executives. "I had already had the experience of working many solo tracks with other LDS artists, and the time in the studio for the solo CD taught me a lot about the craft. I was excited for the opportunity to share my experiences and the lessons I've learned with this new audience, as well as to offer praise to the One who had made this all possible."

Osmond's path has led him to "Road Less Traveled," a double CD released this week by Shadow Mountain. "This is my opportunity to bring messages of hope and praise to a wider audience," Osmond says. "But this is not your typical 'Sounds of Sunday.'" Osmond wrote almost all the tunes, along with his partner Aaron Edson. "Don't forget that song called 'Let Me In,' written by three other guys named Osmond," he adds laughingly. Then he becomes serious as he says, "It was great being able to do a remix with my dad, and I even let him sing along on the lead part. He sounded great."

The title song, inspired in part by his grandpa Pinegar who recently passed away, like the other songs chosen for this album, were all meaningful to David in some way. "My grandpa was an honest man, filled with integrity and dedicated to hard work. I wanted to honor those traits because he was such an inspiration to me." Just more proof why David has chosen to follow the road less traveled.

A bonus CD features five favorite hymns, chosen Osmond says, "Because they were personal favorites that resonated with me. I felt such emotion while singing them, and I wished I'd had written theses songs. I wanted this part of the project to stand as almost a prayer."

The highly anticipated, debut inspirational album from David Osmond was released through Shadow Mountain Records on Aug. 10.

Son of Alan Osmond, David has been performing his entire life, beginning as a young boy when he was lead singer for popular octet Osmond Second Generation and continuing through young adulthood, lending his voice to numerous recording projects and on-stage appearances. He has been a favorite of local and national media, including a successful run on American Idol in 2009.

David's road has not always been easy. He was forced to put his music career on hold due to a difficult battle with Multiple Sclerosis. David's new album, "Road Less Traveled," speaks of his personal journey of faith in overcoming adversity.

This thought runs through my mind on a Sunday occasion.

Now engaged and still attending the local singles' congregation, I'm feeling a self-imposed ostracism.

Don't get me wrong … I'm not saying that I'm neglected by my fellow ward members. No! Rather, it seems as though this engagement time has me experiencing limbo in a singles' world.

Obviously, singles' wards cater to the needs of maidens and bachelors — as they should. Events occur nightly throughout the week focused to help singles mix, mingle and find an eternal companion: family home evenings, institute dances, mixers, ward prayer. You name the day, there's an event happening that night.

So … what if you've already found your "one and only"?

Jay Osmond on life in ‘Osland’

As drummer for The Osmonds, Jay Osmond was the beat behind some of the most famous songs of the 1970s. Yet he waits 125 pages to give readers their first insight into his musicianship in his new autobiography, Stages.

Along with brother Wayne, he was skeptical about the family’s decision to build a recording studio in the middle of Utah County. Yet in Stages: An Autobiography, Jay Osmond never backbites and never turns sour on the decision that led to the family’s financial unraveling.

He witnessed the charms and eccentricities of legions of stars, including Andy Gibb, Led Zeppelin and Cher. Yet Osmond never implies anything unsavory about one of them, or any other name gracing his autobiography.

If it’s piping hot dish about the inside travails of the Osmond family and the turbulent years of their 1970s ascension and 1980s decline you’re after, look elsewhere. In Stages, Osmond instead serves up heaping portions of golden reminiscence, sides of personal advice, and then finishes with a mirrorlike gallery of comments by those who know him.

You may not know, for example, that the Osmond family home in Ogden was situated next to a juvenile institution where Jay saw young boys run across the family lawn during escapes. You may not know that Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen counted himself an Osmond fan, or that Jay Osmond for years worked in the admissions office at Brigham Young University, fielding calls from mothers tearful over their children’s rejection letters.

The book’s overall tone is often so sincere it sometimes glosses over unintentional humor. “One of the things my family really disagreed with was the way the security at a particular hotel in England would use water hoses on the girls for crowd control,” Osmond writes in a passage about “Osmondmania.”

At the heart of Osmond’s book, though, is the perennial celebrity’s dilemma: parsing a personal life and identify apart from public persona. For Jay, sibling number six, and just older than the more famous Marie-and-Donny duo, that challenge became less pressing as the family’s popularity waned during the 1980s and on.

It pressed nonetheless, as Osmond’s book makes clear. It wasn’t until 1979, Osmond writes, when he was a student at Utah State University that he came into his own.

'The Road Less Traveled,' new music from David Osmond

While he's sung everything from boy band to musical theater and pop since he first became the lead singer of The Osmond Boys at age 4, this is David Osmond's first inspirational album release. And what's more, it's full of contemporary Christian songs he's co-written from his own life experience.

In this interview, you'll hear the background of the songs, some of the hymns from the five-song bonus CD included in the new release, and some lessons learned from a difficult period after a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis that seemed like it would sideline his musical plans.

Plus, there's a cameo vocal appearance on one of the tracks by David's father, Alan, on a remake of a favorite Osmond song David grew up hearing.

Jay Osmond book 'Stages' talks about his life

OREM, Utah — Jay Wesley Osmond never really had a choice.
The youngest original member of the Osmond Brothers" and sixth in the family of nine, he was put on stage in diapers at the age of 2 and a half and literally grew up on a series of stages as part of the famous singing family.

"I hated when my world of creativity was interrupted by singing practice, and we practiced every day," he said. "I sometimes felt like I was in the prison 'Sing Sing!'"

It wasn't until much later in his life that he got the chance to decide if that's what he wanted to do. (He did.)
That's part of the reason he's written a new book "Stages" that details the Osmond story from his perspective, 50 years, 30 gold albums and 77 million records later.

"I wanted people to see how I saw it. I felt an urge to put these stories together, like scenes in a play. I wanted to take people along. My real purpose is to contribute, to lift, to offer hope, to offer another side of the Osmonds," Osmond confided in an interview with Mormon Times.

Osmond said there were 10 things an Osmond had to be every day of his or her life, including being a good example of Mormonism and pulling together as a family.

"Show business will beat you up if you're not grounded," he said. "We were grounded because of the gospel, and we stuck together as a family. That's the most important thing;we did it as a family. We're connected and we know that."

Osmond sang in the group from toddler age on. He did choreography, and he produced The Osmond Family Hour, the 1980s variety show including the "Little Bit Country/Little Bit Rock 'n' Roll" segments, and most recently, the Osmond 50th Anniversary Special.

He was voted one of the top 10 drummers in America by Flip Magazine and released a solo recording "It's About Time" of his favorite drum songs in 1994 and the sequel "It's About Time Again" in 2008.
He shared the lead on "Crazy Horses" with his brother Merrill, a rock song that became the Osmond's bestselling single overseas.

"We're marketed very differently in England," Osmond said. "They think we're a rock group."
He's shared the rocket ride to fame and fortune with his siblings and his remarkable parents, a ride that began in 1957 after Walt Disney heard them sing, and Andy Williams' father Jay "discovered" them.
In his book, he tells the tale of making the long ride to California after appearing on KSL's Eugene Gelesnik Show to meet with Lawrence Welk only to be put off and kept waiting for hours. Unwilling to waste the trip, George Osmond herded his family over to Disneyland and met The Dapper Dans, who introduced the boys to their boss. After another trip from Utah, they performed for Disney, and their careers were launched. ("I was so excited that we were singing for the guy who invented Mickey Mouse," Osmond writes.)
He talks about the whirlwind years of the '70s, (The One-Tale Osmonds had to learn to ice skate, tumble, juggle, play a variety of instruments and dance for the Williams' show) the pressures and hardships of the '80s, a talented, creative family living under a microscope but tethered by love of family and God.

"The real basic anchor was the gospel and how we were trained," he said. "Family Night was the forum. Our first stage was our living room. We played. We talked. We bonded."

He describes meeting the Queen of England and learning karate from Chuck Norris. He relates some of the challenges that came with working with the mercurial and often bizarre Jerry Lewis.

He harks back to the meeting with then-First Counselor to the LDS Church President, Harold B. Lee, who assigned the family to remember they were representing their faith, essentially calling the family on a mission.

"We're still on that mission. We're not finished yet," Osmond said. "None of us feel it's time yet to be released."

David Osmond, from wheelchair to center stage

Everyone has the chance at least once in life to go down the road less traveled. It may be a path we choose or a path that chooses us.
David Osmond, the fourth son of Alan Osmond, has been down the road less traveled.
At times that road has been exhilarating — appearing on Good Morning America, performing on American Idol and recording two albums in one year. Other times, that road has brought bumps and unexpected curves — battling multiple sclerosis and being confined to a wheelchair.
For a time, Osmond, who's been performing since age 4, had to put music on hold. When he was first diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, moving his hands was so difficult that he wasn't able to play the guitar. A lot of people, even some of his closest friends, don't realize Osmond was in a wheelchair for a while and could hardly move.
"They didn't ever see me at my worst because at that time I didn't have any answers," said Osmond. "We didn't know what was going on, so I didn't broadcast it. I wouldn't have known what to tell (everyone), and I guess I didn't want them to worry. I have to say though that I still have MS, and I live with the effects of it every day. But it is one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me because it brings perspective and an appreciation for the smaller things I might otherwise overlook."
Despite extreme challenges, Osmond said MS has changed his life for the better.

"Music was taken away from me for quite a while," he said. "I was in a wheelchair and couldn't walk, my hands wouldn't move well and my eyesight was diminished. I even struggled with breathing. Singing and performing was done. The mere fact that I am on my feet able to get around and appear completely 'normal' again is nothing short of a miracle. Miracles happen every single day. I know that because I'm living one every single day."
With recent health improvements, he's been able to get back into music and has a fresh perspective on life. Even though he had to put music on hold for a time, his life experiences have given him plenty to write about, and now he's sharing what he learned through his music.
Earlier this year he released his debut solo album, "Reflected." Osmond's new inspirational album, "Road Less Traveled," just released Aug. 10. Many of the songs on these albums talk about embracing life every day and not taking a second for granted.
"I have so much on my heart to say and sing about, and felt it was the right time to make it happen," Osmond said.
The title track to his new album says, "I know it seems hard, but it's worth it to me, I'm on the road less traveled."
With the smooth and bumpy parts of the road, Osmond has stuck to one thing — music. He is driven to keep going because he knows the music inside him must be shared with the world.
With faith, perseverance and some heaven-sent miracles, Osmond has taken the road less traveled, and it's been worth every moment.

Donny Osmond Remembers Michael Jackson

On the one-year anniversary of Michael Jackson's death, Donny Osmond shares his memories of the late King of Pop, and he opens up about his sister Marie's healing process following the loss of her son.

"My fondest memory with Michael, we were both 14 years old, and it was right after the first American Music Awards; we presented an award," Donny tells ET. "And we thought, 'We're hungry!' So we hopped in the back of my limo, drove to Jack-in-the-Box, and we were sticking our heads out the moon roof eating tacos and driving down Sunset Blvd. We were both laughing our heads off."

"It's still hard for me to imagine a year after his death that he's still gone, that Michael isn't with us," Donny adds. "But his music lives on. Michael will always be with us."

Of course, Donny, a father of five with grandchildren, often thinks of Michael's children, who are now in the care of their grandmother Katherine Jackson.

"She is such a loving woman. I've known her a long, long time. Anytime a child can be raised by grandma, you can't go wrong," he says.

Donny's family is still grieving their own loss, that of Marie's son, Michael. But Marie is healing, he says, with more shows ahead in Las Vegas.

"I went to Yellowstone National Park with my family and she went to China, of all places. Her son is doing a play over there. But she's doing great, I'm doing great -- we can hardly wait to get started up in Las Vegas!" he tells ET.

For now, Donny is busy working with a new co-star -- Mickey Mouse! -- and we were behind the scenes as he filmed a commercial for "Dance Star Mickey," one of the hottest toys from Fisher-Price for the upcoming holidays.

This installment of Branson – Up Close and Personal, is with Jay Osmond (JO), a member of one of America’s favorite performing groups, the “Osmond Brothers.” They have been performing together for almost 53 years and have been performing in Branson since 1992. Branson – Up Close and Personal is a service of the Branson Tourism Center and is intended to provide readers with an up close and personal look at a Branson star or personality. The format will be “Question and Answer” and although there will be some different questions from interview to interview many of the same questions will be asked so that readers can compare the answers of different Branson personalities. The interviewing will be done for the Branson Tourism Center (BTC) by Gary J. Groman, a 24 year resident of the Branson area, local columnist and free lance writer.
BTC: How did you end up in Branson?
JO: Andy Williams. I had been out of show business for about two years when, back in 1991, I got a call from Jimmy out of the blue asking, “How would you like to get back into show business and move your family to Branson, Missouri?” Andy Williams had suggested Branson to Jimmy while performing in Provo, Utah during the “Stadium of Fire” show that Alan [Osmond] had produced. Jimmy made a trip to Branson and was impressed. We flew out to Branson with Jimmy and loved what we saw.
BTC: How long have you been Performing in Branson?
JO: Since 1992 about 18 years.
BTC: What is your first memory of Branson?
JO: The beautiful sounds of the “katydids” and the Ozarks at night.
BTC: What do you like best about performing in Branson?
JO: The feeling that everybody’s here to have a good time and enjoy themselves. The comments of a sweet lady a couple of weeks ago when she said “It’s a happy show and I felt good when I left,” pretty well sums up how I feel.
BTC: What’s your favorite thing to do in Branson when you are not performing?
JO: Hang out with my family when they are here and take long walks when they are not here.
BTC: Where is your favorite place to eat in Branson?
JO: I do love the Rib Crib and my favorite dish is the Chicken Caesar Salad.
BTC: If you could perform or meet with any entertainer/person (living or deceased) who would it be and why?
JO: Walt Disney because of the impression he made on me when I was a little kid. He was so nice and kind to us in the very early stages of our career.
BTC: Do you have a favorite hobby or activity and what is it?
JO: Sharing the activities my kidsare interested and being involved with them in those activities whether it is golf or video games.
BTC: Do you have a little known fact about yourself that you think our readers would enjoy?
JO: I play the game “Tetris” on my iphone every night before reading my scriptures.
BTC: What is the funniest thing that has happened to you in front of an audience?
JO: In 1999 we did an Ice show in Branson where the stage was covered with ice so we had to wear ice spikes on our shoes. We would go into the audience and sing to them. Merrill was singing to this girl and she was crying. I thought that it was really touching because we hadn’t seen anything like that since the 70’s. Come to find out she was crying because Merrill was standing on the end of her feet with his spiked shoes.
BTC: What part of your show do you enjoy performing the most and why?
JO: The acapella singing of “Old Man Auctioneer,” which was one of the first numbers we learned as kids, and the new acapella medley we are putting into the show that starts with the song ”Where Does An Angel Go When She Cries. It reminds me of the type of singing we did when we first started.
BTC: If I were planning a trip to Branson why should I plan to see your show?
JO: I’m going to paraphrase that sweet little lady and say, “Because it’s a happy show and you’ll feel good when you leave.”
BTC: If I were coming with children ages 5 through 13 would your answer be the same and why?
JO: Personally I think so because we try to gear the show to all ages and have had great responses from kids of all ages and especially teenagers. The key is to get their attention.
BTC: You play the drums in the show and the introduction to the number mentions an award you won back in the 70s. Would you care to elaborate?
JO: Back in the early 70’s “Flip Magazine” did a survey of the “rock drummers” and I was in the top five. I still play the drums and just did my first solo CD in 15 years called “It’s About Time Again” with 15 of my all time favorite songs including vocals and drums.
BTC: Are you working on any current projects?
JO: I have just finished my book, “The Stages of My Life” and it will be out this fall. It is about the stages of my life and is dedicated to our “stage parents” [George and Olive Osmond] who were there every “stage” of our lives.
The Osmond Brothers will be performing in Branson through June 5 and will be on the road until they return to Branson on September 1. After their return they will be performing shows through December 11 including their Christmas show which will start on November 1.

America's Freedom Festival at Provo recently announced that several internationally known Utah musicians — including The 5 Browns, Jenny Oaks Baker and The Osmonds Second Generation — will join headliner Carrie Underwood and country music singer Eric Dodge in performing at the event.

The 5 Browns, a classical piano quintet, will perform on five grand pianos at one time. Baker, a Juilliard School graduate, will play violin, and The Osmonds Second Generation will perform pop music.
America's Freedom Festival also has released more tickets through the Stadium of Fire production team. Tickets ranging in price from $30 to $120 are available.

June 01, 2010 - For a self-described "uber-optimist," singer/songwriter David Osmond sure has some battle scars.

After all, the Utah-bred songster with the famous last name has had to overcome a few obstacles, not the least of which has been his bout with multiple sclerosis. Despite his struggles, though, Osmond brings a "joie de vivre" to his music that never runs short on hope and positivity. His message has resonated with the online community of Stereofame.com, who have chosen Osmond as June 2010's Artist of the Month.

"I wanted to make the music that was in my heart," he said. "Especially because for some time I wasn't able to perform."

No more than three years ago, Osmond was bound to a wheelchair, nearly paralyzed as a result of his affliction. After slowly regaining his functions, Osmond had something to say.

"It's given me a new perspective on life, appreciating every single moment," Osmond said.

That outlook has its fingerprints all over Osmond's new album "Reflected". Songs like "Every Second Counts," set soaring choruses atop sparkling guitars, while bouncy, mid-tempo tunes like "Heartbeat Melody" showcase Osmond's more playful side.

Many may remember Osmond from his appearance on American Idol, but the tunesmith's pedigree goes way beyond a talent competition. His father, Alan Osmond, is the oldest of the performing Osmonds, along with siblings Donnie and Marie. Osmond said it is his father's optimism, in spite of his own struggles with MS that roots itself deep into his own craft.

"He showed me how to keep fighting…the glass isn't half full, it's overflowing," Osmond said. "That's where this music really came from, it's a culmination of all my experiences."

According to Osmond, Stereofame is the perfect vehicle for him to promote his music, his way.

"There's a new way to market yourself and sell your music online," he said. "I think Stereofame is right at the front of that."

Donny Osmond adds Australia

“The Donny Osmond Show,” the daily radio program from McVay Syndication, has launched in Australia. Donny recently launched in Perth and Canberra with the Capital Radio Networks of Australia. The show’s roster will be enlarged by two more radio stations, effective 6/1. According to Don Dawkins, Program Director for the group, “We’re delighted to have Donny Osmond on in Australia. He’s an entertainment icon who’s toured our country and entertained Australians for a long time. We believe the Donny Osmond Show will be great addition to our various brands.”

Mike McVay added “I’m thrilled to be working with Capital Radio Networks in Australia. A Song For Kylie

The Songs of Love foundation have helped 21,000 kids and counting.

John Beltzer, the founder of the Songs of Love Foundation came to Santa Monica this weekend to co-create a song for 10-year-old leukemia patient, Kylie Becker, who is undergoing treatment at Los Angeles Children's Hospital.

He enlisted the talents of country singer Nathan Osmond (yes, of that Osmond family) and lyricist Tony Asher, the co-writer of the Beach Boys' "Pet Sounds."

Beltzer founded Songs of Love in 1996, a dozen years after his twin brother Julio committed suicide.

Just before his death, Julio had written a piece called "Songs of Love" which included the lines: "Songs of love are really what we need to take away our fear, and make the best of love."

These lines inspired Beltzer, a musician and songwriter, to create songs for sick children. He called it a simple, but powerful concept, which he then turned into the Songs of Love Foundation.

Since then, he's written thousands of songs, each one dedicated to an individual child in need of a boost.

The song he co-wrote this weekend for Kylie with Osmond and Asher was the organization's 21,000th song. The Songs of Love Foundation has a staff of 12 people -- including Beltzer -- and about 200 freelance songwriters.

While he and Nathan strummed out a melody, Asher worked on the words.

Usually, a doctor or a parent or a relative contacts Songs of Love and provides information that describes the child, her pets, her toys, her likes and her musical preferences.

Kylie was a country music fan. So they crafted a song that could have come out of the Nashville playbook:

Each song costs the foundation about $250 to make and the demand continues to rise. To pay for the costs, the foundation accepts donations, both in dollars and used cars.

The real payoff for Beltzer seems to be in the difference the songs make in the children's lives and in the lives of those people who love them.

Hundreds of people got a glimpse at an LDS fireside in Malad, Idaho.

The event provided an intimate look at the relationship between Olive Osmond and each of her nine children.

The Osmonds said there was love and faith in their home, and that their mother, was the heart of it.

“She loved life, and she taught and engrained in our thinking and in our life the importance of people and in loving people,” said son Jay Osmond.

SAMARIA, Idaho -- About six miles southwest of Malad, Idaho a girl was born in a log cabin on May 4, 1925. Eighty-five years later, seven of Olive Davis Osmond's nine children walked into the restored cabin.

"This is so surreal," Donny Osmond said. "You can feel her presence here"

The Osmonds were in town for the dedication of the "Olive May Davis Osmond Cabin and Museum." The cabin sits on property donated by Samaria resident Luke Waldron, a local high school teacher and history buff. It is only about 200 feet away from its original location.

Waldron carefully took the decaying cabin apart about 20 years ago -- numbering every log. The buyer of the logs never reassembled it and eventually it came back into Waldron's possession. Two years ago, he began restoring the cabin -- hoping to have it done in time for a local visit and musical performance by The Osmonds -- Second Generation.

Osmond family to be in Malad

The Osmond Family will be in Malad on May 2-3, 2010, to dedicate the cabin where their mother, Olive Davis, was born. All nine children – Virl, Tom, Alan, Merrill, Wayne, Jay, Donnie, Marie, and Jimmy – will participate in the events. The public is invited to all events.

An LDS Fireside will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 2, at 7:00. Doors will open at 6:15 at the Malad LDS Stake Center at 1250 North 1100 West. The Osmonds will present a program emphasizing family although it will not be a concert. Admission is free, but because seating is limited, tickets are required. Tickets can be obtained be calling Lance Tripp at 541-8746. Overflow seating will be available at the 3rd Ward Building at 400 North 200 West. Tickets will not be required at that location.

The cabin dedication ceremony will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 3, at the cabin site on the main road into Samaria, 6 miles southwest of Malad. After the dedication, a light lunch will be served for a $5 donation, followed by entertainment by local student groups and some of the Osmond family.

Those who attend either event will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with the Osmonds. Books about the Osmonds by Alan and Virl Osmond and CDs by the Osmonds will be available for sale with all proceeds going to the cabin maintenance fund and the Samaria Pavilion fund.

We're closing the "singles staying single longer" topic at just about the right time. These past few articles kicked up the dust, and it doesn't look ready to settle just yet. Emotions are at a fever pitch, and I don't blame anyone.

Being single late in life (... and that's all relative) places burdens on some backs. It poses the question, "Why me?"

Left out of the proverbial circle of wedlock, we are filled with a gamut of emotion:

* Suspicion, "Am I going to get married?"
* Denial, "I don't need to be married"
* Resentment, "It's not my fault! He broke up with me."
* Guilt, "I missed a chance to be married"
* Self-hatred, "Why would anyone marry me?"

Amidst all of this, each of us finds our own reasons for staying single longer. We want to see the world. We want to accomplish lofty goals of success. We seek autonomy to fulfill our wildest dreams.

Entertainment can be a troubling profession these days, with temptation, pornography and immorality more rampant than ever before. Probably few members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints know that better than Donny Osmond.

However, his membership in the Mormon church isn't just his religion, it's his very lifestyle, he told the Deseret News during a recent 30-minute telephone interview from Las Vegas.

"I would never do anything that would compromise my membership or standing in the church. Because it's more than just a religion to me. It's my way of life. In my opinion, it's what's been able to keep my family stable in this crazy business called show business."

Oldest Osmond sibling shares life with famous family

George Virl Osmond Jr. sits in his modest living room in Lindon. On various shelves sit family photos. A closer look at the photos and one sees the trademark smiles of the Osmond brood, the nine children of George and Olive Osmond, along with their 20 grandchildren.

Virl is the oldest and embodies the trademark Osmond looks and grace with a broad smile, the pug nose and the heartfelt concern for whomever he encounters. He and his brother, Tom, were born hearing-impaired, and therefore not part of the performing acts of their seven siblings.

In spite of his handicap, he exudes that bright, contagious enthusiasm that people associate with the famous performing family.

"My brother and I helped with the Osmond Brothers' act -- we taught them sign language, so they could communicate on the set," he said. Virl's eyes twinkle as he continues. "And I taught them to dance. When they became well-known as a barbershop quartet, my mother, Olive, sent me to tap dancing classes so that I would not feel left out. I came back and taught the boys to dance."

The Osmond family has turned to one another as they strive to move forward following the suicide of Michael Bryan, Marie's son. Marie's brothers and nephew gathered in Utah on Monday night to support the release of David's new album, "Reflected." They also used this as an opportunity to reflect on the tragedy that has afflicted their tight-knit family.

Donny Osmond said, "Whenever there's a situation where there needs to be rallying, the Osmonds rally around each other and support each other. And, there's a lot of that going on right now."

Upon receiving the devastating news of Michael's death, the brothers immediately boarded Donny's plane to join their sister in Las Vegas. "It meant a lot to her to have us at her house," reported Donny.

Marie's ex-husband and Michael's father, Brian Blosil, also attended the event to support David's emerging music career. David summed it all up, saying, "Family is everything."

He married Vera Ann

People in Idaho told us that Olive is the most popular woman ever to have come out of the State of Idaho! This was important for the brothers to be there. ALL of the Osmonds and Davis's will be there to launch the OLIVE MAY DAVIS OSMOND CABIN AND MUSEUM! A special brass plaque called "Olive Eternal" will be dedicated and this Cabin Museum will then be open to the
public. It was rebuilt and maintained by the community of Samaria, Idaho. The Welch Days Festival will honor Olive and all those from Wales.

We should be "Of One Heart", "One Mind", have NO DESIRE FOR ANYTHING of and EVIL Nature, Thought, or Desire! I wrote a song about One Heart that helps expresses it: "When the Love for Another makes a Stranger your Brother" then you're ONE! Yes, EVERY decision we make in our lives from now on must have Eternal Consequences! And, eventually, there will be NO POOR among us!

As I think about the word, ENDURES I remember how much our parents shared this phrase with us to keep reminding us as we were growing up. My son Doug, saw this logo in his mind of "ETTE" . . . "Endure To The End". So, I made it up into pins and other reminder motivational jewelry. I encourage ALL to put this in your minds, to wear it, and to constantly think about it every day!

Filmmaker attempting to secure funding for music documentary

TUSCUMBIA - Most recording artists know when the audience is cheering, they're into the music.

If they're silent, there's something wrong.

It's just the opposite for Percy Sledge, the man whose hit "When a Man Loves a Woman" helped bring Muscle Shoals music to the world.

"When they're quiet, I've got 'em," Sledge said in an interview that will be part of a short presentation that filmmaker Wallace Sears will use to get backing for a major documentary on Muscle Shoals music.

Sears began shooting short interviews with the movers and shakers of early Muscle Shoals music last week in Nashville and the Shoals.

The video, which could be described as a trailer, will contain just enough information to whet the appetites of producers.

I was impressed to get up early this morning and encourage all who read this to remember . . . that YOU HAVE THE POWER TO CHOOSE! A Prophet of the Lord, Spencer W. Kimball gave our family some VERY good advice when we had decisions to make when we were not quite sure which "WAY" to choose. He said, "No matter what the decision you have to make... whether it is where you live, the friends you keep, or what job that you do . . . you will ALWAYS HAVE AT LEAST TWO CHOICES! You can go this way...or that way. ALWAYS CHOOSE THAT WHICH WILL GET YOU THE CLOSEST TO THE CELESTIAL KINGDOM AND YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER!"

As we see the trials and TESTS of this day in which we live, you have the CHOICE to decide whether you look life as a GREAT DAY...or a DREADFUL DAY! Is your glass half full...or half empty? Are you a Positive person or a Negative person? The Pendulum of Life swings both ways! If it swings far to the left, it will swing just as far to the right. Scripture says, "As a man thinketh...so is he!" Every decision that you make should have ETERNAL significance!

Yes, times are hard right now and it might even get harder. Your family, marriage, your job, your health may be challenged... it may seem unfair . . . and even the future of this "GREAT" Country may be challenged!

I try to remember the words of another Prophet, Harold B. Lee, when he said...

"Men may fail in this country, earthquakes may come, seas may heave beyond their bounds, there may be great drought, disaster, and hardship, but this nation, founded on principles laid down by men whom God raised up, will never fail. This is the cradle of humanity, where life on this earth began in the Garden of Eden. This is the place of the new Jerusalem. This is the place that the Lord said is favored above all other nations in all the world. This is the place where the Savior will come to His Temple. This is the favored land in all the world. Yes, I repeat, men may fail, but this nation won't fail. I have faith in America; you and I must have faith in America, if we understand the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are living in a day when we must pay heed to these challenges.

I plead with you NOT to preach pessimism. Preach that this is the greatest country in all the world. This is a favored land. This is the land of or forefathers. It is the nation that will stand despite whatever trials or crises it may have to pass through."

Land's End and One Heart Challenge

Family and Friends,

One of the distribution sources of the almost 30,000 caps of the Lands’ End Challenge was via the Lunchboxers who help feed Families in need!
Some of the caps went to Homeless Families and these went to children in families with needs, especially during these past cold winter days!
Scott who was in charge of this group reports: “These caps were received very well and I wanted to let all of the others who worked with us on our One Heart Campaign to know how much Good can be done when we work together and reach out to others”!

Marie Osmond Pays Tribute To Haitian Survivors

MARIE OSMOND paid tribute to citizens of earthquake-devastated Haiti as she picked up a woman of the year award for her charity work at the weekend (23Jan10).

The singer was honoured by the Nevada Ballet Theatre for her foundation, the Children’s Miracle Network, which treats ill youngsters and has raised more than $3.6 billion since the 1980s.

Osmond used her speech at the Las Vegas ceremony to recognise survivors in Haiti, who have shown courage and strength since an earthquake hit the country on 12 January (10) - and reveals her organization is aiding the ongoing relief effort.

Rusty Keys, KBEE (Utah) program director and afternoon personality, said the station will be dropping the Ryan Seacrest radio show to fit Osmond's new show into the schedule.

"I'm really excited about it," Keys said of the new show, noting that it will be a great opportunity to have someone like Donny Osmond airing each weekday in Utah.

Tom & Vera Davis are the Parents of Olive Davis Osmond, the Mother of the performing Osmond Family! They played a very important role, besides their Davis / Nichols genes, in making their daughter, Olive, and her children successful.

This book reveals the importance of education and the love of music with talents that comes from the "other half" of The Osmond Family and their Welsh descendants. When you see who they were and get to know them, you will find a lot of valued, dedicated, and hard working people with faith and musical tendencies that got passed down to their children and grandchildren.

Olive May Davis was a piano player and loved the saxophone which she played with Fred McMurray on the Andy William's TV Show in the '60's. Though several of her family were hard working farmers, miners, wood cutters, educators and seamstresses, you will learn that they were also musical and made violins. Anna Jenkins and John Marsh (descendants) had 12 children and taught them to sing in four-part harmony! (That's how the Osmond Brothers
started in 1957!)

Several family members joined the LDS Church and moved from Wales to Idaho. Olive was born in her grandparent's cabin which has now become a museum in Samaria, Idaho to be dedicated on May 3, 2010. They believe that "God's "Plan of Life" is the Family. This book was created for their posterity and friends to remember their Ancestors and the love that they had for higher education, musical talents, honest and simple living, who were a hard working people that produced a great posterity that has influenced the world! This book contains several pictures, genealogy sources, family history, that genetically ties many families together with historic relationships.

Singer Donny Osmond is coming back to the airwaves as he launches a radio show on the heels of his "Dancing With the Stars" win.

A music show hosted by the 52-year-old Las Vegas headliner debuts Jan. 18 on about 60 stations across the country.

"I've been up and down for the last 47 years. Up's better, let me tell you," the entertainer said in an interview with The Associated Press. "It is a roller coaster ride and you're not up all the time, and when you are up you ride that wave and hopefully you're enjoying that wave, because I'm certainly enjoying this one."

Osmond said the daytime show is aimed at a wide audience, but primarily women who listen to the adult contemporary or classic hits during the day, at work or elsewhere.

"It really gives ownership to the listener, and that's what we're trying to do is get them through the workday with some great music and some fun stories, little anecdotes and a very positive outlook in the five hours I'll be programming," Osmond said.

Osmond will record segments on his laptop and the show will be delivered to stations by syndication network Citadel Media, in partnership with McVay Syndication. Officials said last month's bankruptcy filing by parent Citadel Broadcasting will have no effect on Osmond's contract, the terms of which were not announced.

Osmond said most of his fans grew up with radio, and the format isn't going away despite the medium's financial slump and technological advances that give potential audiences more entertainment choices.

"I've been in this business since dirt was created, so I've seen a lot of incarnations of this business," Osmond said. "I remember when colored television came in ... I was such a little kid but I was involved in the industry so much."

"And so many people would say, `Television is the death of radio,' and as history has shown, it isn't, it wasn't and it never will be," he said.

The show will include some personal anecdotes and stories from the entertainer, who is enjoying a resurgence with his appearance on the hit ABC dance series, the Donny and Marie show with his sister at the Flamingo Las Vegas and an album debuting next year.

Entertainment Producer, Director and Composer William H. May Passes Away At Age 56

William H. "Billy" May, world-renowned entertainment producer, director and composer, died at 1:45am on Thursday, December 31st, 2009 at St Vincent's Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. Mr. May's death follows a recent illness.

As a teen, May honed his abilities as a performer, composer and writer, touring with such acts as Sonny and Cher and the Osmond Brothers.

Alan remembers him as, "a good musician."

Lands' End FeelGood Initiative Reaches Goal Warms Over 25,000 Hearts and Heads This Season

DODGEVILLE, Wis., Dec. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- It took four months, more than 5,000 pounds of donated yarn and hundreds of talented volunteers to knit over 25,000 hats for homeless individuals across the country as part of the Lands' End FeelGood initiative. Lands' End kicked off the FeelGood campaign in September in an effort to warm the homeless and displaced this season. For every Lands' End FeelGood sweater purchased, the company donated signature FeelGood yarn to One Heart Foundation's Warming Families, a nationwide knitting charity. Hundreds of volunteer knitters embraced the challenge many knitting for the entire four months resulting in a total of 29,560 hats knitted and donated to homeless organizations from coast to coast.

"The results of this campaign are simply heart warming," said Nick Coe, president, Lands' End. "We are truly grateful to the volunteers that donated their time and talents to such a rewarding and meaningful effort."

Lands' End donated more than 5,000 pounds of proprietary FeelGood yarn that is as soft as cashmere but offers the durability and value of cotton. The company offers a FeelGood sweater collection in a variety sweater styles for women and wanted to find a way to utilize the yarn in a meaningful way this season.

As a result, yarn was delivered to hundreds of Warming Family volunteers as well as Lands' End employees and local community members. Vickie Howell, best-selling craft author, knitting personality and host of TV's Knitty Gritty also worked with Lands' End to help instruct novice knitters, create hat patterns for the campaign and to host "knit out" events to keep the momentum going. Additionally New York Times best-selling author Kate Jacobs supported the initiative by joining knit outs across the country and reading from The Friday Night Knitting Club and Knit the Season.

When "Dancing With The Stars" began more than two months ago, 16 couples jockeyed for a finalist spot. Now, after 10 weeks of rehearsals, performances and eliminations, this week's spotlight rested upon Mya, Kelly Osbourne and Donny Osmond.

Monday night's performances kept the heat on the dance floor as the competition came to a close. Looking at the finalist lineup, all three were deserving of the coveted mirror-ball trophy, but for different reasons.

Throughout this season, Mya displayed continually her dancing prowess with grace and elegance. Her unwavering ability to execute sophisticated routines week after week proved what an amazing dancer she is. And, how could we forget ... how did judge Len Goodman put it? Her "Tutti-frutti what a booty" moves. She definitely proved to be a veritable opponent for Kelly and Donny -- both of whom have stories so different that they're nearly opposites.

When he was announced as the winner, a visibly overjoyed Osmond rushed into the audience, literally carrying his wife, Debbie, back on stage.

Country singer Nathan Osmond performs at Bozeman Wal-Mart

Wal-Mart shoppers in Bozeman were treated to a surprise Wednesday as country musician Nathan Osmond performed in the store.

Osmond, the son of entertainer Alan Osmond (and nephew of famed 70s duo Donny & Marie Osmond), has been touring the state the last few days, stopping in Great Falls, Helena, and Butte before making his way to Bozeman.

He's thanking Wal-Mart for its support of the Children's Miracle Network.

“My grandma Osmond is the one that had the dream, the vision back 27 years ago around our kitchen table, 'Let's do something that helps all these kids'. And Joe Lake was there, and Shannon, and they put something together. Thanks to these guys, since 1987 Wal-Mart has been a sponsor of Children's Miracle Network,” Osmond said.

Osmond's next stop is in Billings before he returns home on Thursday.

Chasing a (DWTS) star

About a month ago, I wrote a blog on how I would be supporting my father throughout his run in "Dancing With The Stars." Little did I know I would literally be running just to keep up with him.

I'm young and single; working all day and partying all night is status quo. So, keeping up with a 51-year-old is no problem, right? That is, of course, unless your dad is Donny Osmond.

Now, we're with Donny and pro partner Kym Johnson in their Las Vegas rehearsal studio to see what they're cooking up next!

"Still living on that cloud," says Donny of their victory. But now, Donny and Kym have to lock down the Jitterbug by Monday night, and Donny says, "It's kind of bittersweet -- we love the fact that we got 29, but we really are starting over. You're just starting from ground zero."

"We take it week by week," agrees Kym. "It feels really like a competition now to me. … I think we're in a good place -- hopefully they'll take us seriously."

"It doesn't matter where we are on the leader board, I just want to be a great contender," says Donny, adding with a sly grin, "But it sure feels good to be number one."
